February 11 – 12 Museum of New Hampshire History - Going to School Program Each fourth grade class with have a presentation of what it was like to be a student in the mid 1800’s.
February 14th Historical Perspectives for Children: Helen Keller This is for all third grade students. This is a one person one hour performance. The performance reviews the life and achievements of Helen Keller.
February 21 – 22 Museum of New Hampshire History – On the Abenaki Trail Each fourth grade class will explore the shelter, hunting methods, and family life of New Hampshire’s Woodland Indians.
February 18 – 22 The Nashua Jazzercise Fitness Center will be at the school for the week with their “Kids Get Fit/Junior Jazzercise” Program. All students will take part during their PE and Music class times.
March 19th Sled Dogs assembly. Pam and Jacy Lacombe-Connell from Coyote Farm (a mother and son team) come to the school and talk with the 4th grade students about mushing. The presenters take part in many sled dog races and have come to educate our students for many years.
March 21st New England Brass - The band will perform for grades 3 -5. This is during Music in our School Month.
May 8th The children’s author Marty Kelley will do a presentation for all of the 1st graders. He goes through the fun process of writing and illustrating. Some of Marty Kelley’s books include: Fall Is Not Easy, The Rules, Summer Stinks, and Winter Woes. |
